"I want zero stunting in 2030 to be achieved as a target for sustainable development goals," he said, Tuesday (7/30).
Edi appealed the heads of sub-district, urban village, and other regional working units to make sure the assistance given is on target and correctly.
He also appreciated other companies that already contributed in handling stunting through their CSR programs.
"Hopefully the assistance provided by the private sector will increasingly show positive contributions as a joint effort to reduce stunting in South Jakarta," he added.
Meanwhile, South Jakarta TP PKK Chairwoman, Essie Feransie Munjirin, stated FIFGroup agreed to provide a donation of Rp 98,448,000 to fulfill nutritious food needs.
"The provisions are 14 days for underweight toddlers, 28 days for toddlers with poor nutritional status, and 28 days for toddlers with stunted nutrition," she stated.
Essie added that assistance for underweight toddlers, those with poor nutritional status, and stunted nutrition is provided to toddlers from five priority urban villages for stunting prevention, namely Cipete Utara, Kramat Pela, Bangka, Tegal Parang, and Srengseng Sawah.
"Hopefully this collaboration can be established well and can continue to other programs," she admitted.
